About Us
Patrick Smith HR has been operating for over 15 years delivering HR advice and services to business owners across the Nelson/Tasman region and around the country. Prior to this I served in senior HR roles with Sealord Group for over 20 years.
Qualified with a Bachelor of Business Studies (Human Resources major) from Massey University and combined with my governance experience in health, vocational education and as a former president of the Nelson/Tasman Chamber of Commerce I can offer a unique range of perspectives when discussing your workforce challenges.
Our clients come from various industries including horticulture, marine, transport, engineering, retail and tourism. However, we also work with organisations across professional services, education and iwi entities. We enjoy helping business owners work through their HR issues and offer a one-stop shop approach. Our services include recruitment, employment documentation, advice on handling employee performance issues through to leadership training and developing polices.
